Evidently, an up-to-date theatre can't exist without high technologies. Professional video and sound equipment gives not only priority before other companies. It allows to make work more interesting, creative, and to embody rehearsals of performances, premieres, tour performances and everyday life what’s significant. For this reason Eifman Ballet company established own Multimedia center (MMC) within the support of Investment culture fund grant. The project was finalized during the period from May 2007 till December 2008. MMC is a new division of theater. It consists of audio and video cutting rooms, premises for warehousing of cases with the equipment for guest performance shootings and archive.

The materials received during work can be used for creation of presentation and training DVDs and as programs about ballet for TV. Company’s performances will remain in the history, young actors will have an opportunity to be trained in dance at the advanced level. The materials created by the company can be transferred to photo archive and documentary funds.

During the existence of MMC all performances of current company’s repertoire have been fixed on video at high professional level, many hours of rehearsal and creative process were shot, video- and a photo archive with the extensive presentation video data are prepared. In January-February 2010 on the screen versions of Anna Karenina and Onegin ballets were shot at DK Lensoveta in St. Petersburg. Post-production work was successfully completed in 2012. Also, in 2012-2013 DVD versions of Rodin and Beyond Sin ballets were filmed.
