Eifman Ballet will go on tour to Armenia and Georgia, with the ballet Anna Karenina. Worldwide renowned plastic interpretation of Tolstoy’s novel will be presented to the audiences of Yerevan and Tbilisi. The tour will take place from April 12 to 16. Yerevan performances will be the part of the program of the Russian Days in Armenia, held as a part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

March 5 and 6, 8:55 pm, a premiere of the documentary Boris Eifman’s Main Words is to take place on Kultura TV channel. Right after it, the screen ballets Anna Karenina (March 5) and Onegin (March 6) will be broadcasted on Russian Federal television for the first time.
A screen version of the Boris Eifman’s production Up & Down, to which in 2015 Russian, European and American audiences applauded vigorously, will start shooting on January 11, 2016 in St. Petersburg.
On December 14–16 the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum will take place. Within its framework the section “Ballet and Dance”, which will be headed by Boris Eifman for the 3rd time, will function. The program of the section includes 9 different events. The most respected representatives of the modern ballet art to participate in the section events.
