In the first half of June Eifman Ballet will tour in New York. The performances will be held at New York City Center. The new choreographic version of the famous ballet Red Giselle (June 2, 3, 4) and 2016 premiere Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA (June 9, 10, 11) are on the programme of the Company’s New York season.
On May 11 the tour of Eifman Ballet in Canada and the United States will commence. It will last until June 25 and will be one of the key events of the ongoing 40th anniversary season of the Company. In May Eifman Ballet plans to visit Toronto, Minneapolis, Chicago and Boston. In June – New York, Costa Mesa and Los Angeles.
On April 26 a new version of the Boris Eifman’s ballet Russian Hamlet will premiere at the Alexandrinsky Theatre (St. Petersburg). The production, which was not performed by the Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg for many years, returns to the repertory in the year of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Company.
On March 17 and 18 Yekaterinburg meets Boris Eifman's Eugene Onegin.
In March the Company will present at the Alexandrinsky Theatre the best productions of its current repertory. It will the first series of performances of Eifman Ballet in St. Petersburg in 2017, the year of the Company’s 40th anniversary.
